CLI Option Requests

Could you please look at adding more options to the CLI?

It would be nice to be able to perform the following items:

  1. Backup with options (already apart of CLI)
  2. Option to re-scan remote storage
  3. List backups (already apart of CLI)
  4. Restore backup based on name given at time of backup (this is currently something that doesn’t follow when moving from one WP instance to another, the only meta data that carries over is the time/date)
  5. Confirm search and replace

We use Updraft to move from Dev -> QA -> Stage -> Prod. The above items would allow us to add this to our Jenkins pipeline and deploy with minimal interaction and potential error.

    We are working on 4.

    WP-CLI already has – a search/replace tool, so we have no plans to re-invent that wheel!

    One other thing to add that I forgot – the ability to ‘Delete old directories ‘

    Could you please update your documentation to include the latest CLI commands?
