To whom it may concern,
we do have a request to better manage back ups within updraft. First off we are happy with the product but it need’s a few improvements.
For one the naming convention isn’t perfect and does need some more adjustment for the User :
backup_2022-12-07-0200_Wellness_Center_90b46dfe1e31-uploads.zip
backup_2022-12-07-0002_testmynaturesdelightcom_29cf388beaeb-uploads.zip
As you can see those are 2 backups but we have zero control on actually to define the name our self. It would be extremly helpful because we do have multiple Websites per Server VM and we do like to use per Folder as a target but we do like to custom name the part which is in BOLD letters our self so we are better in control. We do like to have a field which we can fill out somewhere within the settings of the Client so we can ensure this client is storing all them backups proper only with that name and not something “randomly” because we do prefer to use FQDN and not Website title.

Hi,
Please tell your developers that they can already accomplish this using the `updraftplus_blog_name`. You can use the support channels if you want to check on the existence any existing features.

Hello David but there isn’t such a field within Updraft.
Sorry, my reply should have said “the updraftplus_blog_name filter”. i.e. WordPress filter. Your developers will know what that means. It’s not a field in the UI.
