I would really like to see the ability to use Google’s Team Drive feature. Instead of tying backups to a single user’s account, the whole team would be able to access backups from a central location as needed.
I know that there are other ways of getting central backup solutions, but our business is centered around Google Team Drive, so this feature would be really helpful.
I second this, we’ve been wanting to see this for a while. We have the same setup, we host a lot of websites so having an unlimited storage backup drive we can push full backups to routinely is invaluable. I believe the issue is with Authentication, and team drives work differently than GDrive when it comes to scripting API calls – not sure if it’s do-able but still, if there is a way to do this we’d love to see it. Would like confirmation from support one way or the other if it will be possible.
Currently as a workaround, I have them going to one persons GDrive and that folder is shared with anyone on the team who needs access.
