[Update: SSH, SFTP and MySQL administration are now enabled on all new clones.]

    PLEASE consider adding access to clone site database and FTP. This would attract a lot more clients because users want to test code, make changes, etc.

    This clone feature is 100% USELESS without FTP. I’m sorry I purchased 15 tokens now as I”ll never be able to use it.

      100% useless is a bit harsh, especially as SSH is already there (and you can use any WP file manager plugin). Anyway, I’m happy to say – you can now use SFTP. Connect to your clone on port 20022 with any SFTP client (e.g. Filezilla). We’ve not yet added text to your ‘My Clones’ account page (coming up soon) but you can get the password by copying the link for the SSH login, and extracting it from there (the bit after “p=”). (If you have any trouble, please raise any support issues in a support channel – blog posts aren’t monitored for support requests).

    Does this mean I could now access the css files of my clone, modify them and upload them again, since this is my only motivation in using UpDraft Clone? O.o

    Just one more question: Once I finished modifying my site, can I use UpDraft Plus free or must I use its paying version to re-upload it back onto the server?
