January 10, 2017 at 5:50 am #188391BenjaminParticipantWhat do I do to resolve this issue?
January 12, 2017 at 11:08 am #188767Dee NutbourneModeratorHi Benjamin,
Our sincere apologies for he delay.
The console screenshots show that UpdraftPlus is receiving an empty response. This usually indicates that the connection is being blocked by a firewall or other method on one of the servers.
Could you (or your hosts/server admin) check the firewall logs for a record of a blocked connection?
Apologies again for the delay.

We’re using WordFence. I get the same behavior when disabling the firewall. Please advise on how to proceed. Thank you.
January 12, 2017 at 7:01 pm #188850Dee NutbourneModeratorHi,
Could you go to the UpdraftCentral settings (The ‘spanner/wrench’ icon in the corner of the UpdraftCentral dashboard, and set the debugging level to ‘3’?
Then, open your browser’s developer console (instructions for each browser here), and attempt the test again?
A number of debugging messages should display in the developer console. Could you send a copy or screenshot of those messages?

Thank you. That shows that there’s no network communication coming back from the remote server. The next thing to do is to see if any comes into that server at all. To do so, first try the connection attempt again, note the time, and then go to UpdraftPlus on the controlled site, and to the UpdraftCentral section, and press on the “View Log” button, and please then send us the results (including the time, preferably in UTC, or with your time zone if not).

Here’s what worked – providing the exact url of the mothership page when creating the key vs. just the subdomain. Thanx for your guidance and patience to resolve.
