    Yes, it did. So this error has nothing to do with my configuration or server but with Updraft itself?

    Hi,

    Apologies for the delay. I have been unexpectedly away, and it appears that this thread fell through the cracks.

    Please could you ask your hosts/server admin what the PHP maximum execution time is set to?
    If it is over 900 seconds or unlimited, please could you ask them to limit the execution time to 900 seconds?

    This should ensure that the refresh token does not expire, and a limit of 900 seconds will not affect any other process on your site.

    Unfortunately I still get error message (I set the maximum execution time to 900). Latest log:

    Hi,

    Can you clarify what the problem with the backup represented by that log is? The log itself appears to show an ultimately successful upload to Google Drive and Dropbox. Is the backup not found if you visit https://drive.google.com ?

    I got again three debug mails, two with an error log and the last one finally without errors.
    The first mail with 185 errors came at 04:00, the second one with 84 errors at 04:53 and the last one without errors at 05:57.

    Hi,

    From the log and emails, it appears that the backup is encountering overlapping resumptions.
    This is when a new backup process is started while the previous process is still active.

    This indicates that the server may be overloaded, and operations are taking long enough to be returned that they appear to have been timed out.

    Please could you ask your server admin/hosts to check the load on the server at the time of backup. If possible, can they also increase the memory limit for the site?

    I would also recommend switching the backup time to a quieter time of day, when the load on the server will be less.

    The backups are already taking place at night, so I can’t optimize the timing. I also won’t get a higher memory limit without paying more. This week I got the exact same numbers of errors. I will try to deactive the backup to Dropbox, maybe this helps.
