    Hi,

My site is around 200gb in size and growing. It’s taking around 8 hours to complete a backup, but lately, they are all failing.
I have logs, please can you advise as I may need to find a new solution for backups.

    Thanks

    Hi,

Please could you send us a copy of the latest full backup log?

This can be found in the UpdraftPlus Existing Backups tab.
The contents will be too long to post here directly, but you can use an online service such as Dropbox or Pastebin, and post the link here.

    Regards,
    Bryle

    Hi Ashley,

    Apologies for the late reply.

“5202.276 (1) Saving backup history. Total backup size: 106.4 GB”
You seem to have a really huge site! Your website resource just fell short to complete the process.
I’m not sure if you can still increase your server resources? As UpdraftPlus is dependent on your server resources.
If that is not possible, maybe remove some unnecessary files on your website? To decrease the size a bit.

    Regards,
    Bryle

    Hi Ashley,

Yes, UpdraftPlus does not have a backup size limit as it is totally dependent on your server resources.

Can you increase the I/O limit, maximum_execution_timeout and site memory?

Let us know here if you still get the same issue.

    Thanks,
    Bryle
