Backups not working

Hi
I am trying to action an unscheduled backup using ‘Backup Now’ prior to updating WordPress. However, despite trying several times, the backups are not completing. I actually left the site backing up yesterday (19/11/17) and it had not completed today; it had just stopped and showed the latest backup as 10/11/17. I have reset several PHP selector parameters:
max_execution_time: 240
max_input_time: 180
max_input_vars: 5000
memory_limit: 1024M
post_max_size: 512M
upload_max_filesize:128M
I am using the Litespeed server; however I have over 30 sites on the server using Updraft Plus without issue.
Please advise?

Hi Paul,

Please could you send us a copy of the most recent backup log? This can be found in the Existing Backups tab.

The contents will be too long to post here, but you can use an online service such as Pastebin or Dropbox, and post the link here.
