Cannot restore my backup

    Hello,

    I have the problem, that since the update of the database I cannot restore a backup any more.

    There is the message:

    Herunterladen (sofern notwendig) und Vorbereiten der Sicherungsdateien
    Lade Sicherungsdateien herunter, falls notwendig
    Herunterladen mu-plugins (Mar 26, 2024 0:05):
    mu-plugins
    Remote fetch failed
    Kleine lokale Sicherung vorhanden

    And the second message:

    Herunterladen db (Mar 26, 2024 0:05)
    db:
    Remote fetch failed
    Keine lokale Sicherung vorhanden

    Then UpdraftPlus tries to restore, but there are these messages, so the system seems to work infinitely and I do not get the restore.

    Can you help me, please?

    Hi Betina,

    It appears that UpdraftPlus is no longer able to find the backup you are trying to restore.
    Can you click on the “Rescan local/remote storage” backup to update the backup list. Do you still see the backup that you were trying to use for restore?

    thank you very much for your response!

    Maybe you mean the link “Remote-Speicher erneut einlesen”?

    There appears a warning: “Warning: if you continue, you will add all backups stored in the configured remote storage directory (whichever ite the were created by).

    Is this correct? I don’t want to make something wrong with it …

    now I have clicked this link “Remote-Speicher erneut einlesen”, and there is an error message:

    “An error condition has occured for the first time during this job (Mrz 27 04:34:21)”

    Can you help me, please?

    > This message is the error of the current backup process.

    After clicking the “Remote-Speicher erneut einlesen” do you still the backup that you were trying to restore?
    If yes, please can you attempt one more restore?

    now I did the following steps with the backup of this night:

    1. I tried to restore the backup, but there are still the 2 warnings
    2. Then I clicked on the link “Remote-Speicher erneut einlesen”: https://ibb.co/MRFxFcp
    2. There is this warning I already wrote to you: https://ibb.co/rFtvrcV
    3. There is this Google drive message “Google drive: Invalid request (refresh token not present).”: https://ibb.co/MRFxFcp, but I use the dropbox for the UpdraftPlus backups; on Google drive I think I do not have enough space for the backups.

    I hope, you can help me!

    Hi Betina,

    Sorry, I need one more information from
    you. Can you please send us a copy of the backup log?
    This log can be found in the Existing Backups tab of the UpdraftPlus dashboard.
    If you cannot access the UpdraftPlus dashboard, then you can find the log file in the ‘wp-content/updraft’ directory via FTP or your hosts’ file manager.
