cURL error 35: Encountered end of file

Hello,

I just want to activate my new UpdraftPlus Pro Account in the PlugIn by using my E-Mail and Password.

But I just received an Error: cURL error 35: Encountered end of file

I use the WordPress-Version 5.03 and the Plugin Version 2.16.5.0

Hi Felix,

Can you make sure that there are no firewalls blocking the connection?
Also, can you enter your site IP address here – https://updraftplus.com/unblock-ip-address/
Then attempt to reconnect again.

Do you still get the same problem?

Hey Bryle,

thank you for your advice.
Sadly I still get that message.
I can try to speak with the Server-Admin to get more Informations about the fire-wall Issue.
Is there anything else I can try in the meantime?

Hi Felix,

The error suggests a very old version of the PHP-curl (networking) component on your server, or out-of-date SSL certificates on the server. So, only the server admin can fix that. However, if they are not timely in doing so, let us know, and we can send you a zip file directly.

Normally my IT-Administration is very busy so if you can send me that .zip file to fix it by myself it would make Things much easier.
