I have two twin sites, one is development and the other is production. They are 99% the same, I deploy them with UpdraftPlus.
The two sites have the same name and the same Updraft settings, hence they upload their backups in the same GoogleDrive folder.
In the backup log of one of the site I read:

    0419.431 (0) Examining backup set with datestamp: 1445561580 (Oct 23 2015 00:53:00)
0419.434 (0) This backup set (1445561580) was imported from a remote location, so will not be counted or pruned. Skipping.

    which makes perfectly sense.
How does UpdraftPlus understands that? How can I tell the source of each backup set and separate them in two folders?
    Thank you

    Hi Vittorio,

    How does UpdraftPlus understands that?

Triple-click no the date/time shown for a backup in the “Existing Backups” tab. Then UD will show you all of its internal knowledge about the backup.

    Wow! Triple click is awesome!

Now I understand: there’s an internal db recording of all backups taken, and the scan local/remote refreshes the listing, and therefore it knows the origin.

    Thank you
