    Hi,

    Apologies for the delay.

It appears that the Brute Force Protection plugin is attempting to access the .htaccess file, but has cached the old location.

I would recommend manually deactivating, then reactivating the plugin.
    To do this:

    • Access your site via FTP and find the ‘wp-content/plugins/brute-force-login-protection’ folder
    • Rename this folder
    • Attempt to log in to WP Admin again. You should be shown a message that the plugin was deactivated
    • Rename the folder to its original name
    • Reactivate the plugin in WP Admin

    Best Wishes,
    David N
