Is there an easy way to exclude WooCommerce files from a backup?

The site used to use WooCommerce but no longer does. I deleted the WooCommerce plug-in but had not realised that does not delete the various WooCommerce files. I was hoping there might be a way to exclude popular plug-ins (and their files) like WooCommerce.

    Thanks.

    Hi George,

If you have already uninstalled the plugin then you can use WP Optimize to remove and clean the files and database that was left after uninstall.

    Hi Bryle,

Thanks for the advice. I have done that and run a database clean.

I am not sure if it actually deleted any of the orphaned WooCommerce files as the backup contains Woo files and same size as before. Is there a way I can check.

    Thanks again,
    George

    Hi George,

I’m afraid you will have to manually check it via phpMyAdmin.

    Thanks,
    Bryle
