file size gotten too large

Hi all,

I have updraft plus pro. I have backeded up my website and and migrating it to a new site.

On my latest backup, I now have 36 x core files – giving over 30GB of space.

It is a 60 page ecommerce wordpress website, and I do not believe it is that big – or anywhere near that size.

Is my backup holding old information? Is this normal?

I have been migrating the website for 3 x hours now on strong wifi with only 20% of the transfer completed

Hi,

Please could you manually check your WP core files if you have large files saved within the directory?

Alternatively, you could try backing up your site without including the WP core files. Please read this FAQ to know if you need to include it in your backup – https://updraftplus.com/faqs/need-back-wordpress-core/
