Imported database redirects

After hours of failing to migrate my site to a test site, I finally just ftp’d the backup of the database and imported it on the test site, which resides it’s own domain on another server. Now, when I try to go the new site in a browser, it redirects me to the old site. No SSL is involved, no redirect is anywhere in the word press files. For that matter, nothing has changed from the base WP install at this point except the addition of the UpdraftPlus plugin and the import of the database. How can I fix this?
