I have a large site backed up with UpdraftPlus. For the Uploads it is split across 24 400MB files. I have needed on many occasions to locate one or more files and to do so I must download the backup files and then search within the zip files. This is roughly a 10GB download every time.
It would be great if the log could show which files are contained within each backup file. This way I would only need to download a single backup file.
Hi David,
If you turn on the ‘debug’ setting in the expert settings in the ‘Settings’ tab in UpdraftPlus, then this will then log this information, if your server is using the default zip engine (which is not necessarily so – not all servers have it). It will make the log file pretty long in your case, of course.
