    Hi,

If we set monthly or weekly backup, and the site crashes in that time, will we lose information on any users who might have registered in that time?

If yes so how we will keep safe our data. Actually, we have an e-commerce site and still, we have set it up on to daily basis but we have a big size of files so It is taking a long to have a backup on google drive.

and we want to secure our daily data.

    Thanks

    Hi,

I would suggest backing up your database more frequently so you will not lose lots of data if you need to restore.

    Thanks,

    Hi,

Thanks for your reply! Can you please see the below questions and reply here.

    1. If we are going ahead with a daily database backup, what is being backed up with this.
    2. Can you explain where / how the images and pdf files backed up? We add quite a few images and pdf files each month so it would be good to know the backup procedure for this.

    Thanks

    > The information stored in a WordPress database includes posts, pages, custom fields, users, Woocommerce transactions and other WordPress settings.

    > Files are stored in a separate backup called “uploads”. This contains all media files.

    Thanks,
