I host about 80+ sites, and they all back up monthly with updraft Premium.
So recently, I noticed that our web server storage usage had increased dramatically, and traced this down to Updraft.
While the backups to s3 are succeeding, the backups are also ending up in public_html/wp-content/updraft and staying there. This is not cool, because our server storage usage has gone way way up. Why is this happening and how do I stop it?

    Thanks!

    Hi,

If you want to delete local backups, you need to enable “Delete local backup:” option from UpdraftPlus > Settings > Show expert settings.

This will delete the local backups after backups are successfully upload to your remote storage.

    Best Wishes,
    Bryle
