Multi site add on wont activate

I purchased the multi site add on but when I try to activate it by following the link, It brings me to plugin updates screen (nothing needs to be updated)

So I cant activate

No other plugin installed

Hi Bernard,

Are you using a custom theme at all? If so, could you try switching to a default theme and trying again?

Could you also load the UpdraftPlus settings page with your browser’s developmet tools open? (instructions here). Then could you post a copy of any errors that appear when trying to activate the add-on?
