Network / Multisite restore select destination site

I must be missing something but where to I restore a backup from a non multisite and restore it to a specific multisite? So far it looks like I can only restore to the main multisite and the updraft plugin can only be accessed through the main multisite and none of the other multisites.

I am waiting for support to reply to my support ticket. they sent me a screenshot where after selecting to restore you are given options for the destination domain or text boxes to enter the new multistie name for creation.

I find it odd there is no documentation online regarding this anywhere
