pre configuring Updraft Backup

I have a Master WordPress installation that does nothing except update itself and all the plugins I use.
When I need to set up a new site I grab that and copy it.
Then I configure wordpress via wp-config.php and the back end.
The most tricky (and the most important) plugin to configure is UpdraftPlus Backup.

Is there a standard way to pre-configure it automatically some way?

Kludge: can I trigger the exporting of the settings on the local file system via a cron job?
