Problem performing a second restore (migration)

Hello

I have a wordpress site which is backed up regularly using UpdraftPlus. Lately I had some problems with it and I wanted to make a local copy of the site on my computer to try to debug it.

I purchased the migration addon and installed it. It asked to be upgraded to latest version, which I did. Then I restored a backup of my real site. It did a good job and everything seems to be working. However, after some checking I decided I need to restore from an older backup.

This time it says again that my migration plugin is outdated and asks for an upgrade, but when I click the upgrade link it says that everything is up to date. I tried cleaning old pre-restore data, reconnecting to Updraft account but i’m still in the loop of it asking me to upgrade the addon in order to activate it, and then tellin me its up to date.

What can I do to make a successful consecutive migration ?

Hi Guy,

Could you deactivate and uninstall the current version on the site, then re-install from a fresh download (available from the installation guide)?

You will not lose any settings or backups.
