Restore Button –not clicking

So the restore button does not seem to work when I click it. I have experienced this a few times on different websites. Has anyone else experienced this? Thank you – Chris

Hi Chris,

Check what error messages show in your browser’s Javascript console. It’s likely that you have some other plugin or theme installed that loads faulty code onto UD’s settings page and breaks it.

FWIW, we’ve never seen any reports of this in our support channel, so I’d be interested to know the culprit.

Okay I tried this again on a local location and still the restore button is not working. I must be missing a step.
I followed this. link information https://updraftplus.com/faqs/how-do-i-migrate-to-a-new-site-location/

I have a green check next to the add on
I have uploaded the backups I had of the site from dropbox. I hit restore and again nothing.

I am not sure how to get you the information you need. I have never had issues with updraft before and have used the restore feature many times. I will try to research the javascript console.

Okay I went in and deleted every single plugin. except updraft and same error.

Hi,

The message indicates that a core component of WordPress is either missing, or disabled. Do the websites in question have something else in common, like the same theme? Try de-activating your theme – does that make a difference?
What WordPress version is this?

Switch to i.e. and got it to work. must be something with my chrome. it is the only common item when it didn’t work. between sites.

Hi Chris,

Try disabling all your Chrome extensions – based on what I’ve seen so far, it’s likely to be one of them interfering.
