WordPress core (including any additions to your WordPress root directory)
    Unpacking backup… (backup_2020-09-18-1009_Pitt_Community_College_535d08d19bdd-wpcore.zip, 2259.6 MB)
Unzip progress: 696 out of 1439 files (121.9 MB, php_errorlog)

There has been a critical error on your website.

If I do not choose restore the core wordpress I get no errors. PHP at production is running 7.0 and backup server is running 7.4.1

    HELP!!!

Would updating my php or going backward in my other environment fix this/.

    Hi,

You seem to have a very large WP core file there. I believe that is causing your server to reach it resource limit and cause the site to crash. I would suggest investigating or checking why the file is that huge. WordPress core file if you download it here – https://wordpress.org/download/ should only be around 14Mb.

    Regards,
    Bryle
