I have been trying several times to restore a backup but failed.
I am getting slightly different erros every time… but the main error is due to the file size.
My website maccalgary.ca now has images not loading that used to load properly before.

    Here is the log:

    Hi,

It appears that the migration process is timed out or killed off. This is usually due to server resources reaching its limits.

Please ask your hosts/server admin to investigate their PHP error logs. These logs should contain more information on the exact issue that is causing the backup process to halt.

    Regards,
    Bryle

Thanks for your quick reply. I spoke to the web host company and they said they reconfigured the php.ini file.
I tried to restore again but got this error in the middle of the restorations:

    Restore files from: May 30, 2019 16:10

Retrieving (if necessary) and preparing backup files…

The backup archive files have been processed, but with some errors. You will need to cancel and correct any problems before retrying.

    Hi,

The Uploads backup seems to be corrupted. Please can you download again the Uploads component and re-upload to your destination site? Make sure that the backup file is completely downloaded.

    Regards,
    Bryle

How can I upload? Using 3rd party FTP or from within Updraft?

    Hi,

You can use FileZilla or any FTP software. Alternatively, you can use your CPanel’s File Manager to upload the files so you won’t have to install anything on your computer.

    Regards,
    Bryle
