Restoring to root from a subdirectory

I developed a site in a subdirectory – I restored the site to the root directory – I did a search and replace – but the site wasn’t displaying properly – many icons and other images were missing. The main menu was missing, etc.. Do I need to do something special when restoring a site from a subdirectory to a root?

Hi,

Please note that performs a full search and replace operation on the database only. If links are hard-coded you will have to change it manually.
