Hello David and UpDraftPlus,

I am attempting to restore a Dropbox back-up over https, and see the following message in the console: “This request has been blocked; the content must be served over HTTPS.” In the expert settings, I enabled the “Use the server’s SSL certificates”, though receive the same result – I would like to know what I am missing.

Hi,

Please can you send a screenshot of that, so that I can see the context? It sounds more like it’s likely to be telling you to visit your WP website over https://, rather than something to do with UD accessing Dropbox. (All access of Dropbox is always and always has been via SSL – Dropbox have never supported anything else).

Hello David,

it seems this was related to my host with the following reason: “The server tagged your IP for mod_security rule from the updraft plugin” – once the rule was disabled (and after 24 hours), all seems to be working well – thank you!
