Updraft Plus can delete backup files on Amazon S3

Hi,

I’ve setup a IAM user with a user policy, exactly as described here:

https://updraftplus.com/faqs/what-settings-should-i-use-for-amazon-s3-and-how-should-i-configure-my-amazon-s3-account/ (most secure setup).

I have assigned that user’s credentials in UpdratPlus

However, from my UpdratPlus console, I’m still able to delete the backups in the S3 bucket. What could be the cause of this?

Hi,

Did you take note of the lines in the instructions telling you which two lines in the policy to *omit* if you wanted to not be able to delete?
