Updraft restore process just deleted all of my installed plugins

I tried to restore a plugin backup from yesterday. I clicked on the “Restore” button next to the name of the backup, which was marked “Automatic backup before update” I then clicked on the Plugins button. There were a bunch of things shown on the log and then all my plugins were deleted. How exactly is this service supposed to be of any use to backup and restore things if I can’t restore them properly? I have no idea how I’m supposed to use this, obviously. My site is currently completely destroyed.
