We have found out that after a recent update of WordPress the unzipping functions now fail on consecutive dots. We have already registered this bug with WordPress Trac and hopefully it will get fixed on the next update.
In the meantime, I would recommend restoring the Uploads backup manually. To do so:
– Download the Uploads backup files to your local machine
– Unzip the backup files
– Upload the unzipped contents to the site’s ‘wp-content/uploads’ directory via FTP.
– Restore the other sections of the backup as normal through UpdraftPlus.Apologies for the inconvenience.
