upon installing UpdraftPlus, got Error establishing a database connection

Hello,

I just installed UpdraftPlus premium plugin, as per guidelines. Activated it, in the settings tab I put my UpdraftPlug login and password, to link to premium account. And then everything froze. Upon refreshing the page, I get “Error establishing a database connection”.

What do I do now, I get this error whether I am trying to access the website admin or normal page on any browsers.

I have not even initiated a first backup.

Hi,

Installing UpdraftPlus should not affect your database connection.

Please can you try to ask your host/server admin and check if your server went down? It could just be a temporary problem.
