Currently Updraft has two “virtual” profiles through the scheduling settings – “files backup” and “database backup”. I’d rather suggest converting this to full profile management, which means to allow the users to create multiple backup settings, each of the with own schedule, exclusions etc. This would be very helpful (at least in our case), where we want to backup the database every hour, backup the uploads (without the database or the core) every day and make a full backup every month. Also we would like to make different backups as location – database backup to be local, while files backups to be remote. Using profiles will make this very easy to manage, both on schedule and when doing manual backups.

I agree, too. It would be really nice to have the possibility to add more backup planning, and for each planning the possibility to choose destinations / targets, with a checkbox.
So one could easily do local backup on the server 2 times for week, or each day, for example, and choose to send 1 of that backups to a remote location, or add another backup schedule to do a remote backup once every week or every month.
At the moment it seems not possible to do multiple backups every week/month and choose independent location for each backup.
