Split: Cannot claim add-on

    During installation of Microsoft OneDrive add-on no connection screen at step 3 for entering UpdraftPlus.com account details under the Premium/Extensions tab. So cannot connect and cannot claim the add-on on this site.

    Hi Ken,

    Apologies for the delay.

    If you see a comparison table in the Premium/Extensions tab, you will need to uninstall the free version of UpdraftPlus and install the Premium-ready version (available in the installation guide).

    If nothing is displayed, please could you run the following test with your browser’s developer tools?
    -In your browser, open your Developer Tools (instructions on how to do this for each major browser can be found here)
    -Open the ‘Console’ tab if it is not already open
    -Reload the page and open the Premium/Extensions tab

    Do you see any errors appear in the developer console? Could you send me a copy of screenshot of those errors?

    Hi David
    Thanks for your response. With the free version of UpdraftPlus I only get the comparison table. If I try to download the Premium version, as suggested, I am required to pay the fee which I don’t want to do. Could you clarify further for me please.

    Hi Ken,

    You are not required to pay by just downloading the UpdraftPlus Premium zip file. Here is the download link https://goo.gl/suLpkg

    After download, install the newly downloaded zip (make sure to de-install the free vesrion first).

    Then, please go through our install process here – https://updraftplus.com/support/installing-updraftplus-premium-your-add-on/

    If stuck, please let us know which step you are having problems.
