Add a unique key to activate different websites

AS a long time user, this is another frustrating aspect of using Updraft. Instead of providing a username/password to connect to Updraft, considering generating unique activation keys from the dashboard that can be used to activate and connect a website to Updraft

Please can you explain this idea further? What is the root problem that having a unique key would solve for you?

I’m trying to guess, but perhaps you believe your password is stored on the site after entering it? It isn’t; a unique token is used under the hood once you’ve validated.

Its not great security practise though having to enter your “root” credentials in to a site to authorise the account. A onetime code to authorise a site is much better security practise
