Yes, you can upload via FTP. By default the place to upload is into wp-content/updraft … and after doing that, press the “rescan” link in the “Restore” section.

August 26, 2013 at 6:48 pm #18244udadminKeymasterThe other way that that message appears (“this is usually caused by resuming an already-complete backup, or by your site having a faulty object cache active (e.g. W3 Total Cache’s object cache)”) (other than having a faulty caching plugin) is if your backup ran out of time. That can happen on development sites that are rarely visited. To prevent it happening, visit it every 5 minutes (or set up an automated task to do so).

My host support now answered me at last, that everything is set and the ports for dropbox are enabled.
I´m doin a backup right now to see if it uploads properly to my dropbox account.Thanks for now,

Upload worked. Dropbox still doesn´t.When I tried migrating the backup from reinhard-steiner.at/photography to rsteiner.bplaced.net I get the message, that WP Core isn´t available and restoring fails therefore.
I checked the “Backup WP Core” in my updraft section on reinhard-steiner.at/photography but didn´t enter anything at the “Exclude” field.
There´s no WP Core available for download in neither of the 5 backups I did so far…
What am I doin wrong?

If I run an updraft backup at reinhard-steiner.at/photography, is it backuping the whole network? So will there be reinhard-steiner.at/musician, reinhard-steiner.at/actor… etc. as well in the backup, or just reinhard-steiner.at/photography?
How can I backup the whole multisite-network?Updraft gave me the message, that I can uninstall and delete updraft addons because it is already included in the normal updraft installation. This message is gone now – So shall I leave updraft addons or can I delete this plugin?

I have purchased the Updraft Plus Premium package and my current install of the plug-in seems to have a display bug. The Backup window and Migrate windows load behind the gradient grey screen making the windows ‘greyed out’ or un-clickable. I have all of my settings filled out and complete, but I simply cannot select the anything in the wp plugin interface after selecting the large blue Backup button. If there is a way to check on my settings of the plugin so I am not effectively ‘locking myself out’ here is the URL: https://thebreakfestegg.com

Thanks for the report. This means that you have another plugin which has a bug – the particular bug is that it’s loading code onto the UpdraftPlus settings page (instead of restricting itself to loading its code only on its own page).
One plugin known to do this is “WP Shortcodes” (we reported it to the author and he said he’d fix it – I’m not sure if he has yet). There may be others; you’ll need to disable each of your plugins in turn to find the culprit (and if it’s none of them, it may be your theme – try switching to a default theme to find out which). (If you have lots of plugins, then you can work faster by disabling/enabling half of them at a time to narrow it down).
