m igrate staging site back to live site

Hi there,
I see lot’s of instruction on migrating to an empty live site but I have also read that you can migrate back to a currently running (not empty) live site? While I think it is probably better to do a fresh install of WP, especially if the staging site is a complete rebuild, I would like to know how this is done. Anybody help me out on this?

It is the same process every time you migrate a site from one location/url to another.
