Hi – I’ve seen a couple posts on this subject. The answers seemed to miss the point of the questions. I’ll try to make my question very clear.

    I have a WordPress (standalone) installation, with a top-level site (e.g.: mydomain.com).

    1. I’d like to migrate/copy it to a subdomain within the same installation (to test new themes, etc.) – (e.g.: copy mydomain.com -> test.mydomain.com)

    2. Once I’m satisfied with the changes on the test subdomain, I might want to migrate the test site back up to the main site (e.g.: copy test.mydomain.com -> mydomain.com)

    I have the Migrator add-on.

Are either #1 or #2, above, possible?

    Thanks!

    Hi,

Yes, you can use the migrator add-on to migrate the website back and forth.
Just use this same process – https://updraftplus.com/faqs/how-do-i-migrate-to-a-new-site-location/

    Regards,
