    I am migrating one site to another, enter the key and the site appears but when I press migrate nothing happens. Does it matter the the admin of the receiving site is https the one i’m cloning isnt,

    I am now getting this message, I do not have any firewall or anything stopping it

    Unexpected response: Error: Response from remote site could not be understood (response_not_understood). You should check that the remote site is online, not firewalled, does not have security modules that may be blocking access, has UpdraftPlus version 2.10.3 or later active and that the keys have been entered correctly.

    Hi,

    Please could you open your browser’s developer tools (CTRL+SHIFT+J or F12 in most browsers), and open the ‘Console’ tab? Then, attempt the migration again.
    Do any error messages show in the developer console? Could you send us a copy of those errors?

    Alternatively, if the migration is time-sensitive, you can use one of the alternative transfer methods to migrate the site, as shown in our migration guide:

    I’m getting the same error message as I try to migrate to a new test site on my localhost. Here are the errors in Console:

    Hi @braxton,

    What version of UpdraftPlus Premium is currently installed?

    Does the normal manual backup start correctly when triggered from the Backup/Restore tab?

    David,

    I have Version: 2.15.7.1. I have automatic updates turned on with my website, so I assume I would be notified if there is a newer version available.

    Normal backup works just fine. I just can’t seem to get the website to migrate to a test site on my local server.

    I would recommend using one of the alternative transfer methods to send the backup sites to the new site.
