    Hi,
    We can’t send a backup to a site and receive it from another from some weeks. The error message is “Wait estimated time to try again because of errors”. What could be the problem?

    Hi Silvia,

    It is possible that the backup has been timed out or killed off.

    Please can you send us a copy of the backup log? Please use an online tool such as Pastebin or Google Drive and post the link here.

    Hi,

    It appears that the process has been timed out.

    Please can you reduce the split archive size to 25Mb?

    Also, do you have any customization on your WP-core files? If none, then you can exclude it from the backup.

    Hi

    Do I need to activate license on both sides to do migration from one site to another?

    I have site http://www.example1.com and want to migrate to http://www.example2.com.
    I have activated license on http://www.example1.com.
    As per article, I need to generate key on http://www.example2.com but I don’t see a option. So I believe I need to activate license for migrate?
    If I activate will it consider towards my 2nd website?
    I have another website http://www.example3.com which needs to move to http://www.example4.com.

    Hi,

    If just using UpdraftPlus to migrate a site you can just activate the Migrator add-on only.

    UpdraftPlus Migrator add-on has unlimited licence and as part of any of the UpdraftPlus Premium package you can install this independently and activate in as many sites as you want.

    To activate the Migrator only, follow the installation guide to Step 4. At Step 4, find the Migrator entry in the Premium/Extensions tab (rather than the ‘All Add-ons’ entry), and follow the activation link for Migrator. UpdraftPlus will then prompt you to update and activate Migrator.
