Hello, I just renewed my license for Updraft Migrator. I received the confirmation email and was charged. But when I go to my account it says my license has expired since July 2022

Hello, I have two unexpired licenses and I’m not able to use one of them on my website. Is it possible to have help with this? I’m getting a message that says that I need to renew, but the licenses expire in 2023.

I’m seeing an message on the WordPress dashboard stating:

“Your paid access to UpdraftPlus updates for this site has expired. You will no longer receive updates to UpdraftPlus. To regain access to updates (including future features and compatibility with future WordPress releases) and support, please renew.”

I renewed my license a few days ago, and confirmed that I have a license active. I can see the message:

“You are presently connected to an UpdraftPlus.Com account.”

So I appear to be connected.

When I try to re-connect to my account, I get the error message:

“You must enter a valid email address.”

Even though my email is correct.

I would upload screenshots but don’t want to do this to a public forum as there is PII in them.

What should I do?

Hi there. I purchased Updraft Premium some time ago, but it expired. I repurchased yesterday with a fresh “buy” and the button is this a renew was part of that purchase option.

I need the migration addon…

I am migrating a production website from one IP to brand new machine with a different IP. The DNS will point at the new URL after the migration.

On the new machine, I am trying to install the migration addon. I get a dialog when trying to update: “Claim not granted – perhaps you have already used this purchase somewhere else, or your paid period for downloading from updraft.com has expired?”

When I look at licenses on your website in my account for UpdraftPlus: All addons, I see two machines listed there. One is listed under the present domain name, then a super old machine that hasn’t existed for some time is listed. I see no way of releasing that license and only have an option to “Make fresh purchases in the store”

I want the old machine removing and then I want to somehow be able to add the new one – the whole reason I just purchased the plugin again in the 1st place.

Last year I bought a Business license for up to 10 sites, and earlier this year an Agency license for 35 sites because I’m managing more than 10 websites now. The 10 websites from the first Business license have expired today. Probably because I cancelled the renewal of this Business license. It seems to me that I do not need the Business license, because I have the Agency license now, right? In that case, can you reset the 10 expired licenses for me?

Or do I need to take other steps to connect the ten websites to my account?

I successfully renewed my license and purchase cycle by following the steps you showed me.
Now I can work to continue to work with a great product :)

We are currently using UpdraftPlus Premium Enterprise license.

I have been renewing my license manually every year using Manual, but now I would like to switch to subscription.

How can I renew my current license and switch my purchase cycle to subscription?
I don’t seem to be able to switch to subscription from the Buy Again/Renew on the Orders screen, so I would like to confirm the procedure.

Hi Markus,

I’m afraid that we cannot undo the cancellation of your subscription. However, your license should still work until its expiration date.

our license does not expire until October 12, 2022 but we are getting this notice and updates are not downloading.

I decided to go ahead and renew now so I can troubleshoot altogether. We are listed with you as a non-profit. When I look at the invoice, I see I need a discount code but don’t know what it is.

I do not have a multisite but the license is not renewed. I paid for my order a month ago

I let my wordpress multisite license lapse for about a month. Just renewed it. But I can’t seem to get the site to recognize the license is renewed. I also renewed the Migrator plugin and that one activated with no issues.

The plugin section for WordPress MultiSite says:
“Assigned to this site – please follow this link to update the plugin in order to activate it”

The link just takes me to the general WordPress updates page and I already have the latest UpdraftPlus version, I think – 2.22.12.1

I’m on WP 5.8.4 and was really wanting to get an Updraft backup before upgrading to 6.0, so I’m a little hesitant to just upgrade directly to 6.0 without a clean backup.
