Saw this error message on a client site, which uses my license. Same on my own site, and presumably the couple dozen other client sites I manage.

Can you please sort this out so I do not have to go to each and every site to renew the connection?

Hi. Years ago I purchased two UpdraftPlus Premium subscriptions each having 10 licenses, In April 2023 I canceled one of the subscriptions as I am not using it. Unfortunately, the site https://campyamhill.org has a license associated with the subscription I cancelled. How do I release the old license and attach it to a new one in the subscription I renewed? Can you help me with this?

I am using version 2.23.4.0.

I have an active subscription but I have the following persistent error associated with the plugin.

Your paid access to UpdraftPlus updates for this site has expired. You will no longer receive updates to UpdraftPlus. To regain access to updates (including future features and compatibility with future WordPress releases) and support, please renew.

I have confirmed that the site is communicating successfully with updraft central.

Can you please check to see if the license is stuck.

Normally I use my purchased version of Updraft Plus with Migrator on websites with no problem, but in trying to load it onto a new installation on Bluehost, I get the dreaded {{#if first_instance}} error. I just purchased a RENEWAL of my Migrator add-on, top see if that fixes the issue and while the default installation works, I don’t have the Migration functionality. In the “Premium/Extensions” tab within WordPress, I get a message, “You have an inactive purchase – activate it on this site” in the Migrator box. But when I click this, I get “Claim not granted – perhaps you have already used this purchase somewhere else, or your paid period for downloading from updraftplus.com has expired?”

What’s going on? I’ve tried to uninstall and reinstall the plugin multiple times, and I get the same thing. My account page on Updraftplus.com confirms that I just paid $49 for the renewal, but under “Downloads”, it shows that my downloads of Migrator expire Jan 2023. It sounds like even though the order has gone through, the license database isn’t recognizing the renewal?

Hello, I need to remove a license I don’t use anymore. I recently bought a license renewal for my domain, but the system assigned the purchase to the license I don’t use. I need to change the license to my domain.

We renewed (as every year) our license on a multisite environment. However updates are currently not possible, we tried to click on links to refresh licences on our backend, but the download always fails. I assume there is some licence not updated within updraftplus.com. Can you check please so that we can update?

I’ve got a similar issue, although not as big as yours. I have a small premium license and went to renew. It says the status is “Cancelled” and won’t let me renew at the reduced price. I’d like to renew ASAP.

Hi,

I’m afraid that if you cancel the subscription it will also remove the licenses. I will just refund your previous so you can purchase it again.
We do send reminder email 3 days prior to renewal so if you wish to cancel, you can do so from your UpdraftPlus.com account.

I’ve just updated to the Agency subscription plan and cancelled my Business plan, which was set to auto-renew.

This has thrown up some old license info in my licenses page:

None of these staging sites exist anymore and Updraft is working perfectly on all the live domains.

I have the Premium plan with unlimited licenses, yet on my license page it says “You have 1 available license (Total unexpired licenses: 10)”. I’ve got an additional $42 bill pending as well for the following (which I am not sure why it’s there). Could you please correct this and advise me what to do?

After renewing my license and doing the update and activate procedures UpdraftPlus is still rresenting the following message for me:

“Your paid access to UpdraftPlus updates for this site has expired. You will no longer receive updates to UpdraftPlus. To regain access to updates (including future features and compatibility with future WordPress releases) and support, please renew.”

How can I make UpdraftPlus recognize my renewed license?

We have a backup license but the person who held the license for many clients of which we were one, has died last year.
